Food for Oil!?!

While not the only reason that food prices are rising, the fact that the U.S. government encourages farmers to grow corn in order to turn it into ethanol (which by the way takes as much energy to produce as it creates in usable fuel) has always struck me as immoral. One has the specter of people starving while we turn food into gasoline. There is a backlash coming...
