This is a report of a dog study that claims that as dogs have lived around humans they have developed a sense of "morality." Read further and check out the evidence. Unbelievable.
Let me see here, one dog is given treats when it raises it's paw and another is not, the unrewarded dog soon loses interest. Gee, I wonder why? Probably because he's not getting anything for his poor stomach. What this proves beyond the fact that dogs aren't stupid enough to do something for nothing, I do not know. But wait. The scientists know: Dr Friederike Range, of the University of Vienna, who led the study, said: 'Dogs show a strong aversion to inequity. I would prefer not to call it a sense of fairness, but others might.'
Strong aversion to inequity? Are you kidding me? They're just not getting anything so they stop, seems easy to explain and I'm not even a scientist.
