Marilynne Robinson, John Calvin, and Writing

This is an interesting article about Marilynne Robinson (one of my favorite writers and a genius!). She discusses how the writings of Calvin have impacted her own writing and makes the interesting claim that Calvinist Christianity made possible the modern novel! (I tend to agree with her).
