But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40.31

The Undivorced?
I don't suppose this should surprise me, given the way our culture is skipping down the road to cultural ruin.

So what is your preference? That these couples actually go through an official state-sanctioned divorce? Or they continue to live miserably together? Those are the choices for those who have no other guidance or anchor or foundation. Should they remain in the same household just to satisfy another person's definition of morality or right? (keep God out of this because I think it's fair to assume they don't care what God's views on marriage are). BTW - we've been slouching toward Gomorrah since being tossed out of the Garden.
Actually, my preference would be that they get some good marriage counseling and live up to the vows into which they freely entered. (There, I kept God out of it). Agreed, it is true that we have been slouching towards Gomorrah since being tossed out of the Garden, I am more concerned with the implications of this sort of behavior for our society and culture. It is clear evidence of a society that is crumbling, which, if history is any judge, means that it will have a profound affect (negatively) on you and I and everyone else in that culture.
