Notable Phrases from The Message

I'm reading through The Message this year in my devotions, so I'm hoping to capture some of Eugene Petersen's brilliance at paraphrase.  Some fine examples:

• The Man said, Finally!  (Gen 2.23) - Adam's reaction to seeing Eve for the first time.  Love it!
• It was so good, so very good  (Gen 1.31) - God's reaction to his own creative genius.
• Murder Meadow  (Acts 1.19) - The place where Judas died.
• I've pitched my tent in the land of hope (Acts 2.26) - Peter quoting David.  "Come, Brothers of Israel, pitch your tents in the land of hope."  Love it, love it!
