Bummer! Off of San Clemente Island. I'm guessing they were both doing exercises in the warning area off of the coast. They should have both known they were in the area (perhaps they did), but obviously something went awry. Doesn't look too good for survivors what with a fireball...

Happy 233rd Birthday Marines!

I was proud to serve my country in the United States Marine Corps, and as I Marine I ALWAYS celebrate the Marine's birthday (just ask my kids). We've been serving our country for 233 years today.

Here is a good example of the Esprit de Corps which makes the Marines special - of course there is no prejudice in this analysis...just because I was a Marine!
