This short article makes it very clear that we were torturing prisoners. I call anyone who disagrees (including John Yoo, author of the infamous "Torture Memo") to undergo what these guys did and say it is not torture.
What we can say with certainty, in the wake of the Red Cross report, is that the United States tortured prisoners and that the Bush administration, including the president himself, explicitly and aggressively denied that fact.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40.31

More Wars...Less Jobs
80,000 jobs were lost in the month of March. Is the Administration laying the groundwork for an attack on Iran? Seeing as how VP Cheney was in Iraq two weeks ago, one wonders if he sat down with Petraeus and laid out a strategy to begin to beat the drums for an attack. This would not surprise me a bit. Having failed at the last two wars, why not triple down and attack another country? Hey, it might work.
