Single Mothers and Society

An interesting editorial from the Wall Street Journal. While the moral argument against single motherhood seems to have gone by the wayside, I do like the approach of rational self-interest, who knows perhaps it will work. The argument goes something like this: If you do not wait until marriage for children, you will be harmed, economically and socially, but even more important your children will as well.
