Bush Administration Goes Realpolitik!

Well, well, well, is the Bush administration for democracy or against democracy. Read these two news articles and find out for yourself that, all of the sudden, "freedom" and "democracy" have taken a back seat to "stability." This sounds to me remarkably like the Realpolitik of prior Republican administrations which the current administration has so strikingly derided. This smacks of desperation to me.
