Two fairly pessimistic comments on the Middle East today. Snatching War out of the Jaws of Peace is a fascinating look at the wrong assumptions that Russia, Iran, and the U. S. are making about the state of affairs in Iran/Iraq, with possibly devastating consequences. Middle East March Madness is an analysis of all of the possible hot spots which could arise as spring comes and the weather gets better. Should be an interesting spring/summer.
