For girls who hate their bodies: a spiritual crisis

This is a fascinating commentary from the Christian Science Monitor. The author essentially says that the obsession with being thin, for teen girls, stems from girls being raised without God. The author is not an evangelical, so we don't particularly approve of her "solution," but the diagnosis is fascinating, and I think probably correct.
